since graduating from MA Design for Textile Futures at Central Saint Martins in 2003 Jo Pierce has be designing and making bespoke wallpapers and working with interiors.
Locating between art and design Jo creates both commercial and conceptual work for residential and commercial interiors.

Exhibiting last year at the Clerkenwell Green Association, London, Jo produced a wall that allowed the viewer to peel away the wallpaper to reveal another pattern underneath.

Lecturing on the BA(Hons) Textiles at Central Saint Martins and The Surrey Institute of Art and Design. She is a member of the ‘Craftfutures’ staff Research Cluster based at Surrey Institute, the group carrys out textural and textile investigation into the position of current and future craft in relation to digitality, new technologies and innovative materials. www.surrart.ac.uk

Jo is also a founder member of ‘Circle’ a collaborative textile group that work in display, exhibition and have recently been involved with consultation for the V&A.
